Privacy Policy
ShopEyes explains how it handles public storefront signals, local research history, and Chrome extension data.
Public storefront signals
ShopEyes reads public storefront signals such as domain, theme clues, visible app signatures, social links, product signals, and store metadata. ShopEyes does not read private Shopify admin data, payment information, passwords, or checkout information.
Detection service
When a user researches a storefront, the domain may be submitted to the ShopEyes detection service so the product can return public research signals.
One-time report emails
If you ask ShopEyes to email a detection report, your email address is used to send that one report. This action does not subscribe you to Radar Weekly, and ShopEyes stores a hashed email record for abuse prevention and delivery troubleshooting.
Local history and saved research
The browser extension and website may store recent research history, starred stores, starred apps, and display preferences so the user can continue a research workflow.
Extension promotions
ShopEyes may show a clearly labeled promotion for CWILL, our own product. Promotion content is loaded as data from shopeyes.top without sending the current store domain, detection results, history, cookies, tokens, or user identifiers. ShopEyes does not track promotion views or clicks, and promotions do not affect detection results, rankings, or editorial content.
Analytics and session replay
ShopEyes uses Microsoft Clarity to understand website usage through behavioral metrics, clicks, scrolls, heatmaps, and session replay so we can improve site performance and user experience.
Clarity may use first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies where permitted. ShopEyes explicitly masks detector inputs, research results, and report email interactions.
Read the Microsoft Privacy Statement
Chrome Web Store User Data Policy
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
